Dear California Gray Whale Petition Members,    It’s crunch time.  Time to stand up and be counted for the whales.   This is a special request to all our petition members to join our Facebook Cause and then to ask all of your friends to join as well.   Please help us grow our cause from League (over 5000 members) to Gibraltar (over 27,00 members) by inviting your friends, work-mates, lovers, family, community, business contacts and social networks to join the “Yes We Can! Save the California Gray Whale" Facebook Cause page.   STEP 1. Please go here and press the "Join Cause" button.   http://www.causes.com/causes/483151-yes-we-can-save-the-california-gray-whale    STEP 2. Once you've joined the cause, please select the cause; "Yes We Can! Save the California Gray Whale" from your profile page and press, "Invite Friends".   STEP 3. Select 75 of your friends (per day) and press, "Send Cause Invitation"   STEP 4.  Click, "Add Personal Message" then copy and paste the following text into the message field:   Hi Everyone, Could you please join our cause and ask all of your friends to do the same. We need as many members as possible to convince the US Government to provide full protection to the California Gray Whale. Yes We Can! Save the California Gray Whale.   STEP 5. Press, "SEND" So when the time comes, we can show the US government how much the world cares about the majestic Gray Whales who are at a cross-roads on their ancient journey.  Human created threats are pushing the whales to a permanent end to 30 million years of existence.   The California Gray Whale Coalition has filed a scientific petition which has the potential to force the US government to take the first critical steps to ensuring long term protection legally and conservation wise.   There’s a crack in the wall.  A tiny ray of light is shining through the murky darkness of government mis-management and political games.   Right now, the Coalition needs to engage thousands of people to support the petition and to tell the US government they want the magnificent Gray Whales properly protected.    Power to the People !  Save the Gray Whales.   Sue Arnold CEO California Gray Whale Coalition   P.S.
